Steve Landers MD, MPH
I lam focused on leading changes that help more older people live with dignity and independence, even when chronic illness and other challenges of aging are present. As a board-certified physician in family medicine, geriatric medicine, and hospice and palliative medicine, I’ve dedicated my career to home and community-based solutions in elder care.
I’m a graduate of Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine and the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. My training also includes a Family Medicine residency at Case Western Reserve University and a Geriatric Medicine fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic. I’ve held past faculty positions at Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine, Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, and Harvard Medical School.
I’ve been fortunate to work with incredible colleagues at world class organizations. My previous roles have spanned from Director of Home Care at Cleveland Clinic to President and CEO of Visiting Nurse Association Health Group, one of the nation’s largest nonprofit home health and public health organizations. I’m an experienced advisor, speaker, and author. I’m also passionate about strengthening and supporting the healthcare workforce, innovation in elder care, and improving care / services for vulnerable populations.
